Connect. Create. Contribute.

THE INTERSECTION OF
CREATIVITY & conscious COMMERCE.

Creative industries business mentoring and advisory

with respect for the process, the pLANET and the pEOPLE.

With nearly two decades in the creative industries, I have a deep respect and understanding of the creative process and what is needed for ideas and visions to thrive.

I believe business is what we contribute to the world, not what we try to take from it, and I’m committed to sharing the knowledge, tools and resources accumulated from building and managing global brands and social enterprises, with businesses and people who feel the same way.

Together, we’ll turn your creative vision into a long-term successful business.

WHAT KIND OF BUSINESSES DO I WORK WITH?

Designers, retailers, fashion, homewares & lifestyle brands, wellbeing brands and practitioners, creative agencies, artists and photographers.

Businesses and people who care deeply about contributing to the world in a more responsible and ethical way through their creative work.
My job is to support and equip them with the knowledge, skills and tools that will help get them there.

I value integrity, care and respect, and look to find those qualities in the businesses I partner with. If this is you, we’re off to a good start.

Book a complimentary chat to see what service might best suit you or email your questions my way.

5% OF ALL SERVICE FEES DONATED

5% of revenue from all of my services ( workshops and events included) will be donated to non-profit partners whom I am committed to working with long term. Upon booking a service, you can choose between one of these three partners for your 5% portion to be donated to.

I believe deeply in the work of each of these community-led organisations and what they are contributing to the world. Each is built on the core principles of  listening to and understanding what is required at a community level from those who understand it best: local people and their communities. From these solid foundations, their work equips future leaders with the skills, tools, and support required for true systemic change and sustainable development.

DO YOU WANT TO BE MCDONALD’S OR THE LITTLE DELI DOWN THE ROAD?!

As Charles Eisentien says so beautifully “To create objects with soul, objects for a rich and beautiful world, we must invest them with life, self and humanity; in other words, we must invest them with something of ourselves”.

The question, and more importantly my response, was the catalyst for change I needed. I left that role shortly afterwards…

A DEEP RESPECT FOR THE CREATIVE PROCESS AND WHAT IT CONTRIBUTES TO THE WORLD.

Where business is an institute that contributes something to the world and humanity vs exploiting and taking from it. Where pure creativity, the arts and craftsmanship can be celebrated for the beauty it brings, the energy it gives and the solutions it provides.

Where our focus is on what we can give instead of what we can take. Where we commit to humbly learning and evolving to do things in a better way that is regenerative for people and the planet…

STUCK IN A CREATIVE RUT? A FEW TIPS I’VE LEARNT ALONG THE WAY THAT CAN HELP.

When we add in the pressure of needing our creativity for our business and our bread & butter we get to throw in a whole lot of extra anxious, fear-driven emotions into the mix as well. It’s normal to feel the ebbs and flows in our creativity.

A creative rut, however, generally carries a heavier sense of hopelessness and can last longer if we aren’t aware of what’s happening and know how to manage ourselves through it…
